Fall Apple Crisp

A delicious fall apple crisp recipe!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 large apples, sliced

  • 1 T. lemon juice

  • 1 t. cinnamon

  • 8 T. maple syrup or honey

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • ā…” cup almond flour

  • 1 t. baking soda

  • 1 t. baking powder

  • pinch of salt

  • 4 T. coconut oil or butter

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Lightly oil a 8 X 8 glass baking dish.

  • Chop apples and add to dish. Add lemon juice, sprinkle with cinnamon, and mix everything together in baking dish.

  • Bake for 10 minutes.

  • Mix rest of ingredients in a bowl to make the topping. Make sure butter or coconut oil is broken up and mixed in as best as you can.

  • Remove baked apples from oven and spread the topping over them.

Place back in oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Topping should be golden brown.
